Corolla Car
In the Driver's Seat: Strong on quality and safety
Inside, the Corolla boasts a simple, functional layout and high-quality materials. Air conditioning controls are of the simple three-dial variety, while my test car's stereo (link goes to photo) was integrated with the optional navigation system, which meant fairly straightforward operation via the system's touch screen. The nav system has a memo function that allows you to set daily alerts -- very handy, as are the dual gloveboxes.
The front seats were fairly comfortable, though I could have done with a bit more thigh support. I'm 5'6", so I imagine that while those shorter than me will find the seat just fine, taller folks might find it a bit too small. But the seat's height adjuster is a boon for all. One of my complaints about the outgoing Corolla was that the driving position put me either too close to the pedals or too far from the steering wheel. The new Corolla's steering wheel tilts (adjusts up-and-down) and telescopes (in-and-out), so that problem has been solved.

The Volvo S80 is only midsize in dimensions, which means it can seat four adults comfortably but doesn't have yards of legroom to spare. It has about the same footprint as the Acura RL, the competitor it most closely resembles in personality and performance.
Volvo sells three versions of the S80. The entry-level S80 3.2 is front-wheel drive and is motivated by a 3.2-liter inline six-cylinder rated for 235 horsepower. Drawing upon the services of a six-speed automatic transmission, the 3.2 moves the S80 along adequately in most situations.
However, buyers seeking a more authentic luxury experience will undoubtedly prefer either the midrange S80 T6 or the high-line S80 V8. The T6 model uses a turbocharged, 3.0-liter inline-6 good for 281 hp. It uses the same transmission as the base S80, but power goes to all four wheels via a standard all-wheel-drive system. True to its name, the S80 V8 has a 311-hp 4.4-liter V8. As on the T6, the six-speed automatic drives all four wheels. This is a potent combination, even in a car that weighs more than 2 tons; we've timed the S80 V8 at 5.9 seconds for the 0-60-mph run.

Introduced for 2004, the Mazda RX-8 heralded the return of the rotary-powered sports car to the United States after a near decade-long hiatus. Until 2008, it featured a slightly different exterior design than the present car, while features were gradually added over the years.
Initially, the RX-8's automatic transmission was a four-speed unit. We'd avoid this car in favor of the six-speed automatic with paddle shifters available for 2006 and later (although we always recommend the manual first). The Shinka Package (Japanese for "evolution") was offered for '06 and included an aggressively tuned suspension, unique 18-inch wheels, leather/faux suede seating and a few other luxury niceties. The next year, this package was replaced by the 40th Anniversary Special Edition, which offered a special gray exterior, red leather seats, different 18-inch alloy wheels, a firmer suspension and the obligatory badges. The '08 model year also saw the navigation system restricted to the Grand Touring model.

the current Civic is available as a coupe or sedan. Both styles share five main trim levels: base DX, LX, EX, EX-L and Si. The sedan also features DX Value Package, LX-S, Hybrid and GX trim levels. The first-generation Cadillac CTS was sold from the 2003-'07 model years. When it debuted, the CTS was one of Cadillac's first cars to fully emphasize the brand's modern, angular styling themes. After World War I, BMW was forced to cease aircraft (engine) production by the terms of the Versailles Armistice Treaty.[2] The company consequently shifted to motorcycle production in 1923 once the restrictions of the treaty started to be lifted,[3] followed by automobiles in 1928.[citation needed]

Bentley Motors has announced that it has added its 47th (!) dealership to the North American market (which comprises Canada, the Caribbean, the United States of Mexico, and these United States) by giving its blessing to Austin’s John Eagle dealer network who will open a Bentley salon on Research Boulevard in April.
Last year, Bentley expanded its sale network to include Honolulu, Minneapolis (?), and Salt Lake City (??), which at this rate means like Walgreens and CVS, there will be a 24-hr Bentley dealer on the nearest corner of your own town.
And as for the uber-luxury car maker’s presence in Texas’ artsy heart, well, as they say, it’s all a part of keepin’ Austin weird.
Aston Martin
Aston Martin exceeds all expectations at Le Mans
Fifty years on from Aston Martin’s victory in the 1959 Le Mans 24 Hours, the team has exceeded all expectations by finishing an excellent fourth overall in this year’s race, having been quickest of the petrol runners from start to finish.
As expected, the diesel-powered cars enjoyed a margin of superiority, but Aston Martin Racing fulfilled its mission of being the first petrol car home, having also been the quickest of the petrol cars during qualifying on Thursday night.
Despite the Aston Martin LMP1 car being new for this year, with the Le Mans programme only confirmed six months ago, the fourth-placed 007 car – crewed by Jan Charouz (CZ), Tomas Enge (CZ) and Stefan Mücke (DE) – exhibited perfect mechanical reliability, with only a puncture and a minor issue with the headlights getting in the way of its serene progress to the chequered flag.

Chevrolet Corvette
OVERVIEW
An all-new LS9 motor produces 620 horsepower at 6500 rpm and 595 pound-feet of torque at 4000 rpm. Delivering 100 horsepower per liter, the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 is mated to a close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox with a new high-capacity clutch designed for the increased power. The twin-disc 260mm design provides plenty of clamping power, while maintaining a relatively easy clutch action.GM has not disclosed specific performance numbers, but the company admits a top speed of 200 mph is very likely. In terms of acceleration, the ZR1 most definitely beats its Z06 counterpart, thanks to a 115-horsepower output advantage. Since the Z06 rockets to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds, it's a safe bet the ZR1 will be much closer to the 3.0 mark.
Lexus IS

While work is reportedly be done on developing a cabrio version of the Lexus IS and a lighter-weight version of the fire breathing IS-F, the IS 250 and 350 need some attention too. They're receiving mild updates for the 2009 model year, images of which have found their way onto the web. Though not expected to officially bow until the Paris Motor Show in October, the '09 IS will be sporting an ever so slightly revised front end, new side mirrors with turn signal indicators, redesigned taillamps with integrated L-shaped reverse lights and a new wheel design. In true Lexus tradition, the exterior changes are about as minimal as they get and require close comparison with an '08 model to appreciate. We can see that the front bumper, lower air intakes and fog lights have been softened, but that's about it. While we don't know anything official about mechanical changes, Carscoop reports that a revised electronic stability control system will be part of the '09 package. Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class
Vehicle Highlights
The 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class is the first premium compact SUV from this German manufacturer. This 4-door wagon shares its platform with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class premium compact car. A single GLK350 trim level is available with rear-wheel drive or the company's 4Matic all-wheel drive. The lone engine is a 268-hp 3.5-liter V6 that is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags. GLKs wear standard 19-inch wheels and tires, and 20-inch versions are included as part of the optional appearance package. Available features include a navigation system that comes with a hard drive for storing digital music files, bi-xenon headlamps, and a panoramic sunroof. This evaluation is based on preview test drives.

It is powered by a new 5.2L V10 with gasoline direct injection, with improved power and torque. The engine is heavily based on the new Audi RS6 V10.[12][13] Unlike the precedent engine, this engine no longer has split crankpins, so it is not even firing, but Lamborghini says that due to the stiffer crankshaft it has less vibrations than the previous engine.Transmission choices include six-speed manual or a six-speed E-gear, with E-gear revised to change gears by a rotational selector instead of a fore/aft movement, which offers 40% quicker shifts. E-gear also added Corsa setting and Thrust Mode launch control system.
The car was also 20 kg (44 lb) lighter than 2008 base Gallardo. Other changes include a new front bumper influenced by the Murcielago and Lamborghini Reventón.
Gallardo LP560-4 has base price of US$280,000, but can go over $322,000 with e-gear, carbon ceramic brakes, navigation and other options. Other factory options are available with Ad Personam program.[16] British version has MSRP of £147,330.00 ($288,943 USD), including NavTrak vehicle tracking system and delivery package.
Nissan Murano
Near-luxury mid-size crossover SUV manufactured by Nissan since the 2003 model year. Known as the “Maxima of SUVs”, it slotted above the Pathfinder as Nissan’s top-of-the-line SUV until the launch of the Armada in 2004. Designed at Nissan Design America in La Jolla, California, it is based on the Nissan FF-L platform used by the Maxima and the third-generation Altima.
The Murano was nominated for the North American Truck of the Year award for 2003. It was also named the best premium mid-size SUV by AutoPacific. The vehicle itself is notable for being one of the largest vehicles available with a continuously variable transmission. Most luxuries expected in a car are standard kit in the Murano. The engine, a 3.5 litre 245 bhp V6, comes straight out of the Maxima and is specially tuned for the Murano. The ‘All-Mode 4×4 with ESP+’ is a form of traction control embedded into the car’s onboard computer and is designed to provide ‘joy’ to drive. The car is 4-wheel drive and has 4-wheel independent suspension. A luxury feature of the car is a rear-view camera in addition to a rear-view mirror. A full set of airbags, steel reinforced cabin, and head restraints are safety features designed to protect the interior whilst ESP, ABS, EBD and brake assist are mechanical safety features.
